-Try to remember to breathe mindfully at all times.
-Perform seated meditation for 15-30 minutes each day at the same time each day to help with creating a sustainable pattern.
-Eat slowly. Think of the different beings that worked on going into the food, and be thankful for their contributions.
-Know that the anger and confusion in others stems from their own suffering and misconceptions.
-Know that you are no better than them, no worse than them.
-Recognize that you have suffered, perhaps differently, but that you know what it is to suffer.
-Have compassion for those who hurt you, even if they seem pleased with themselves for causing you harm. It is their delusions which fool them into enjoying it, and they will come to regret it once they see clearly.

Forgive yourself with honesty not justification.
“Sometimes suffering is just suffering. It doesn’t make you stronger. It doesn’t build character. It only hurts.”
— Kate Jacobs; Comfort Food
“Human beings can withstand a week without water, two weeks without food, many years of homelessness, but not loneliness. It is the worst of all tortures, the worst of all sufferings.”
— Paulo Coelho

Been there, done this… 10 days without water and 45 without food purposefully. The body recuperates as does the mind… the heart remembers pains differently.
